The Cheese World Museum is a tribute to the Western District's hard working farming families. It houses an extensive collection of farm implements and household items from everyday farm life in the early 1900's.A huge Ruston & Hornsby Engine (1940) takes pride of place amongst a collection of early motoring memorabillia.

Latest News
The Cheese World Museum tells the story of the everyday lives of local farming families from the early 1900s. Special displays are changed on a regular basis with the latest being a collection of Fowlers bottling equipment from the early 1900s.
Before the availablility of shop bought frozen and canned fruits and vegetables produce was preserved and bottled in the kitchen for use throughout the year. The display features a 1930s Steriliser complete with thermometer, a selection of books on the art of preserving and recipes and glass preserving bottles in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The Museum volunteers have put together a wonderful display of bottled tomatoes, peaches, pears, plumbs, tomotoe sauce and jams to show those who may not have experienced the art of bottling how it was done. Entrance to the Cheese World Museum is free.
Awards
In the 2010 Dairy Industry Association Dairy Product Competitions our factory collected three major national awards.
These awards included the coveted Chr Hansen Cup and Trophy which recognises the highest scoring cheddar cheese and the Tetra Pak Perpetual Trophy for the highest aggregate score for cheddar cheese.
Our Pepper and Garlic cheese was named the best flavoured cheese in Victoria, the cheddar won the Kraft Perpetual Shield and Trophy and we won the J Sharkey Memorial Trophy for the best vintage cheddar.
The company's milk brand Sungold fresh milk was acknowledged as the best in Victoria by taking out the DIAA Victoria Milk award.
